A prominent member of the Brown County Art colony and President of the Brown County Art Guild, Georges LaChance painted the scenic views of rural Indiana. He was born in Utica, New York, and settled in Nashville, Indiana. He studied at the St. Louis Art School and exhibited at the Hoosier Salon.
